July Wishlist

Taking a little jump start today and sharing my wishlist for the month of July. As you can see, there are a lot of grey tones with timber accents and some chrome details. Our floor renovations will hopefully be close to finished by the end of the week and I am looking forward to styling our “new home”. You can see a little snippet of the floors in the flatlay image, as well as some paint swatches I have been staring at on and off for days… We will probably end up keeping the current wall colour, as the new floors seem to compliment the beige-grey tone really well.

Anyway, here are a few dream products I would love to add to my home… If not next month, then maybe one day!

1.Lyngby Porcelain vases – I actually have some already, see my previous post about them here. 2. Louis Poulsen pendant – not sure where I would put this, but have loved this classic design for a long time 3.  Nikari April tables – amazing Finnish design 4. More Finnish design – Woodnotes rugs are another long-time favourite. With the new floors, this would look absolutely spot on. 5. Anything from Montana is high on my wishlist. The quality of their products is superior and designs are very clever! Like this Note cabinet, for example, I love it. 6. Wicker is such a late 80’s, early 90’s reminder for me (my parents had wicker dining chairs my brother broke one by one – accidentally, of course), but I still love it. This tray from Normann Copenhagen would add just a touch of wicker, perfect.  7. I bought one of these Carl Hansen and Son CH24 chairs earlier this year and would love a few more. Another one for the long-term wishlist, I think! 8. You simply can’t go wrong with Kubus. This nickel version is so festive, yet minimal at the same time.

Lyngby Porcelain

It’s been a bit of a crazy week with work, a sick child (yet again) and floor renovations finally under way. You can see a little sneak peek of the floors in the photo above, but once everything is completed, I will write a full blog post including details of the floors and our experience about the whole project. There is a lot to share, so stay tuned!

In other news, I received a set of beautiful (beautiful!!) vases from Lyngby Porcelain. I’ve been a huge fan of their vases for a long time and so excited to have my own little collection now. I can be a bit picky about my vases and I must say these tick all the right boxes for me. They’re not just stunningly beautiful, but come in a variety of sizes AND most importantly, are perfect for all sorts of flowers.

Although Lyngby Porcelain is well known for their vases, their collection includes a lot of other items as well: from gorgeous lamps with porcelain shades to delicate bonbonniers and candle holders, there is a lot to choose from. One of my favourites is the Chapeau, which I might just add to my birthday wishlist this year!

These stunning vases were kindly gifted me by Lyngby Porcelain. All opinions are my own!
